The Dog Show
I focused on experimentation by creating a cozy back garden environment from a shrunken down, dog-sized perspective. The space is designed as a humanoid-friendly social venue, mixing the vibes of a massive human sized garden with a relaxed, social atmosphere. Everything in this world is built from scratch
The preview limits the amount of detail I put into it, such as baking the lightmaps in unity, and there being a glow from inside the windows and doorway. Additinally I added a particle renderer that I made to look like small bugs flying around the hanging lights.
My main goal with this project was to create a space that felt like a place I would want to hang out in VRChat, and to experiment with the process of building a world from scratch. I wanted to make something that felt cozy and inviting, and that had a lot of little details to discover. I also wanted to challenge myself to create something that was both visually appealing and functional as a social space.
